Elijah`s Cafe in Woodville

Food is just like country cooking! Fresh and delicious! If you want good food and a great price go here. The 8oz chicken is my personal favorite.

The Chicken Fried Steak, Chicken fried chicken with green beans and fries. Everything was Hot and Fresh! The service was Fast and Friendly!

The Cajun Grill catfish is awesome. Be sure and ask for extra sauteed onions. The three-piece is plenty for a grown man.

Was driving through and decided to give this place a try. Was really good, all the staff was super sweet. Food was delicious and came out quick . Prices were amazing. Not many places can a family of 5 go eat for a little over 40 dollars.

I lived and worked in Warren about 20 years. After Elijah's opened, my family and friends at there a lot. The food's great and the staff is very good. Pam was very good and nice. She got bananas to put in my banana pudding.

Me and my wife loves coming here. Their service and food is excellent. Just be aware if you go on a Sunday it is packed out.

Love there food and cornbread rolls... So far love everything I've ever ate here.. Love it recommend it

Wish I could give it five stars..no matter how they try, they can't do a call-in order correctly. Four Stars because they REALLY DO TRY and want to keep your business and their food is awesome.. .. Four Stars because it is still disappointing to unload bags and bags of bring home hot fresh food from Elijak's and miss something like peas, apples or broccoli.. once in awhile it's okay, but seems to happen with every order... but their food is awesome and the staff and Managers in Woodville are amazing!

We were visiting the Big Thicket and decided to stop for lunch at Elijah’s in Woodville. Everyone was very nice and friendly, food was very good. Our waitress was Rita, and she just made our day. So friendly, always making sure we had what we needed, even gave us a bag of corn muffins to take with us. She is a lovely, hard working woman, and I believe she is one of the best servers we have ever encountered. Elijah’s is lucky to have her!

Nice people. Grilled chicken sandwich was not a good meat to bun ratio. Think small piece of chicken.

The best service and food on off high way 69 come see Rita and Lindy great service and food on the road. Come on by for a great hospitality experience.

The food is amazing. We had a problem with our waitress. We decided to just suffer through it. Then, the manager came over and I told him. He went to discuss it with her. Her attitude and service turned around. Then, he replaced her with an even better waiter. The management really cares that you have s fabulous dining experience. I told him about Urban Spoon but I am not sure he understands. I think this place could turn into a large chain if the food and service stay excellent! Buy stock in the company now while it is affordable. I expect to see them all over the state shortly.

Very good food....clean...atmosphere is so so...prompt service...we always stop at Elijahs on our trips thru that area. We stopped there last week on our way to New Orleans and again on our way home today! Very tasty chicken fried steak.

Family friendly you're seated quickly and never have to wait long for your food. Home cooking style food is always hot when served.

They have new specials and I had the catfish with crawfish and shrimp sauce over rice! Oh my! Nice portions for the price.

Having to change my once high review of this restaurant. The management, staff and service seem to be on a rapid decline. Today we had cold food brought by a server who dropped some of it in our laps, empty drinks, all with an attitude. Management was the same. Only positive thing I have to say is I've had wonderful service with a smile every time Mary Ann has been my waitress, wish we'd had her today... She's the only reason I'll think about going back.

They have some great catfish and they are fast and they had good waitresses.

I can NOT believe how my family and I were just treated. We walked in initially and were ignored even though waitresses were crowding the hostess stand. We then told them we had seven in out party, and one waitress rolled her eyes and whispered "sh*t" after a long sigh. They then mumbled about it for another few minutes, openly arguing over who had to take us. We finally just walked out. The manager was amongst them. I am a waitress and understand the food business, and it isn't right. If you are going to be put out about working, perhaps take some time off and study customer service and simple manners. Will not return and will NEVER recommend.

Great food and reasonable prices

Great meals are cooked and served here, no matter which restaurant of their's you visit.

My first visit. The meal came to the table with HAIR wrapped around the french fries. The waitress apologized, took it back and brought another meal. When the check came, she said she was discounting the ticket. The discount - the restaurant took the meal with the hair of the total. Unsanitary kitchen practices and they think not charging me for a plate that was totally disgusting is a discount. Absurd! There was never even an apology from management. I will never visit this nasty place again!

I am currently setting in the drive thru and it has been over 30 minutes. Not only are they not getting food out fast enough they got the order in front of mine wrong. And that was AFTER the 30 minute wait. It's sitting at close to 40 minutes now and this is ridiculous.

Terrible, they were not prepared for 30 people they were told were coming. We did have a very good waitress who did her best since one waitress was an angry person and refused to help her. It took about an hour and a half to get food and then it was cold. I believe they were holding plates so they could bring out all at once.It is probably a good restaurant but not for a large group. And the angry waitress needs more training in working with the public

Me and my husband had there melt in your mouth chicken fried steak it was off the chart good..We are from out of town as we are looking to move in the area this is the only place we eat while in town..Thank you for the wonderful food and service.Very satisfied customer.♥️
